after a rainy thanksgiving weekend, the sun finally came out and we went apple picking.
i can't remember which apples we picked but they were small, tart and perfect for baking,
we also found some pears, which i've never seen on trees before.
we still have more apples than we can count after making 4 pies and some apple crisp.
it was a lovely afternoon and i think we found a new fall tradition for us, here in nova scotia.
(we also went last year, as well :) )
